FIRE SAFETY AWARENESS

Course Details

Our Fire Safety training course is designed to raise awareness of fire hazards within the work environment and to provide participants with the knowledge to protect themselves both inside and outside their work environment.

Course Objectives

On completion of the course participants will be able to:

• Understand the difference between the various classes of fire extinguishers and their use
• Understand the chemistry of fire
• Identify potential fire risks within their work environment
• Understand the requirement for emergency procedures and the action to be taken in an emergency
• Use fire extinguishers on all classes of fire
• Conduct emergency evacuation drills with there own work environment

• Means of raising the alarm
• Action to take on hearing the alarm

Each participant will learn how to use fire extinguishers and will physically discharge one on the training day.
