BASIC FIRST AID COURSE

Our basic first aid course is aimed at all employees who require basic first aid training for treating casualties before the arrival of more qualified first aiders or paramedics. Our course can be run in one of our training locations or if preferred, can be run in house.

Our course includes

• Life Threatening Conditions
• Treatment Priorities
• When and how to call for help
• Personal Safety
• Wounds, Foreign objects, Control of Bleeding, Amputation
• Eye injury
• Burns (including chemical burns)
• Poisoning
• Electrical injury
• Respiratory and Cardiac emergencies
• Demonstration of CPR
• Unconsciousness.
• Head Injury
• Fractures and Soft Tissue injury
• Crush and spinal injury.
• Medical emergencies (asthma, diabetes, epilepsy).

Attendees will receive a Basic First Aid certificate upon successful completion of this course.
