AUTOMATED EXTERNAL DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING

Candidates learn how to recognize the signs and symptoms of Heart Attack, Stoke and Cardiac Arrest. Police, security personnel, airline personnel, family or any employee in a corporate environment would benefit by completing this course.

Our course can be run in one of our training locations or if preferred, can be run in house.

Course Objectives

• To learn to recognise the signs and symptoms of four major emergencies
• To learn the correct operation of the AED machine
• To learn when it is appropriate to use the AED machine

Our course includes

The Heartsaver AED Course teaches the basic techniques of adult CPR and how to use an AED.

Students also learn about using barrier devices in CPR and giving first aid for choking. The course teaches how to recognize the signs of four major emergencies: heart attack, stroke, cardiac arrest and foreign-body airway obstruction.
